MVD Bandipora Launches Major Traffic Enforcement Drive on Srinagar Highway

Bandipora, July 20, 2024 – In a significant move to enhance road safety, Team MVD Bandipora, under the guidance of ARTO Bandipora, conducted an extensive enforcement drive on the Srinagar-Bandipora national highway today. During the operation, nearly 95 vehicles were checked, resulting in on-the-spot e-challans for 20 vehicles found in violation of traffic laws. Additionally, the documents of approximately 15 vehicles were retained for further verification.
Drivers were also given crucial awareness about road safety during the drive. ARTO Bandipora emphasized that ensuring road safety is their top priority and that various measures are being implemented to reduce road accidents, with enforcement being a key component.
