“Hot and Happening or Predictable and Bland? Bad Newz Movie Review”

The latest rom-com offering, Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, is a mixed bag of fun and chaos. While Vicky Kaushal’s swag salvages the somewhat predictable storyline, Triptii Dimri’s performance falls flat, leaving her character as only hot, not happening.

The film, a spiritual sequel to the popular Good Newwz, struggles to reach the heights of a perfect rom-com. The trailer gives away too much of the plot, leaving little room for surprises. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film aims to make audiences laugh but falls short with jokes that often miss the mark.

The story follows Saloni Bagga (Triptii), an ambitious chef with dreams of culinary success. After a whirlwind romance with Akhil Chadha (Vicky), the two find themselves on the brink of divorce. Saloni’s life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers she is pregnant with twins, each fathered by a different man.

As the chaotic events unfold, Akhil and Gurbir must prove themselves as worthy fathers in a comedy of errors that keeps audiences entertained. With a star-studded cast and a mix of humor and romance, Bad Newz delivers a light-hearted but somewhat predictable viewing experience.
