“117 Athletes from 21 Indian States to Compete in Paris 2024 Olympics”
A total of 117 athletes from 21 states across India will be representing the country in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. Among the states, Haryana leads with 24 athletes followed by Punjab with 19 athletes and Tamil Nadu with 13 athletes.
Other states sending athletes include Karnataka with 7, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala with 6 each, and Delhi with 5 athletes. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana each have 4 athletes participating in the prestigious event.
States like Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal will have 3 athletes each competing in the Olympics, while Manipur, Assam, Rajasthan, and Gujarat will be represented by 2 athletes each.
