The first inaugural convention of Hope of Overseas Pakistanis took place in Barcelona, Spain,
with a record turnout from the overseas community. The event saw the arrival of Sajid Tarar from America, who is a prominent Republican Party leader and former US President Donald Trump’s special guest. Consul General of Pakistan in Barcelona, Murad Ali Wazir, was also in attendance.
The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Alhaj Qari Abdul Rahman Chaudhry, followed by Qadeed Ahmad Khan presenting floral tributes. Senior journalists Shahid Ahmad Shahid and Shamaila Siddiqui managed the event as settlement secretaries, adding their unique touch to the proceedings. The overseas community showed their patriotism by standing together to sing the national anthem and chant slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad.”
Key figures like Sajid Tarar, Sanjit Singh, Consul General Murad Ali Wazir, Chaudhry Muhammad Jafar, Sajid Gondal, and Chaudhary Mehran Tarar addressed the attendees, who participated enthusiastically in the discussions and activities throughout the convention.
