Bandipora, 29 January: Due to heavy snowfall of 3 to 4 feet in Tulail, normal life has been badly affected and many roads remain blocked. During this difficult time, a patient in Dungithal area became seriously ill and needed urgent medical help.
A doctor from Sheikhpora was coming for treatment, but could not reach Dungithal because the roads were closed due to deep snow. On the directions of SHO Tulail Mohammad Shafi, police personnel from Police Post Purana Tulail risked their lives and safely escorted the doctor through deep snow and difficult routes to Dungithal.
The link roads of Dungithal are still not cleared, making the situation very tough. However, the timely action of Tulail Police helped the doctor reach the patient in time.
The doctor and local residents of Dungithal thanked Tulail Police, especially SHO Mohammad Shafi, for their brave and quick support.
