Jammu&Kashmir: In a proud moment for the Union Territory, the top eight athletes have been officially selected to represent Team J&K UT at the prestigious Khelo India Winter Games 2026 following the successful completion of selection trials. The athletes secured their places based on outstanding performances, discipline & competitive excellence displayed throughout the rigorous selection process.The selected athletes Inayat Farooq, Gousia Gulzar, Rashia Bashir, Mehak Mushtaq, Yasmeena Sajad, Kulsum Riyaz, Bilkisa & Masrat Jan have consistently demonstrated remarkable commitment & skill in winter sports, earning recognition among the best competitors in the region.Sports officials, coaches & members of the sporting fraternity have congratulated the athletes & expressed confidence that the contingent will deliver commendable performances on the national stage.
