Bandipora, March 18: In a heartfelt gesture to promote unity and communal harmony during the holy month of Ramadan, Commander of 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles hosted a grand Iftaar gathering at the 14 RR Headquarters in Sonarwani, Bandipora.
The event saw participation from around 100 distinguished guests, including the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bandipora, Padma Shri awardee Faisal Ali Dar, senior district officials, media representatives, and prominent members of the local community.
The evening commenced with the traditional breaking of the fast (Iftaar), followed by a well-organised and dignified gathering. The atmosphere was marked by warmth and inclusivity, as attendees shared meals together, reflecting the core values of brotherhood, equality, and togetherness that define Ramadan.
The gathering also served as a platform for meaningful informal interactions, fostering open dialogue and strengthening mutual understanding between the Indian Army and the local populace. Participants exchanged views and experiences, reinforcing trust and cooperation.
