New Delhi, India, March 28: India’s rock music community is celebrating a milestone moment as Def Leppard undertakes its first-ever full-scale headline tour across the country in March 2026—nearly two decades after a planned 2008 visit was cancelled.
The legendary British band is performing in three major Indian cities, drawing massive crowds and strong audience reception at every venue. Adding a cultural touch to the excitement, Amul India released a special topical illustration commemorating the “Def Leppard India Tour 2026,” celebrating the band’s long-awaited return.
Sharing the creative on social media, Amul captioned it: “Amul Topical: English rock band Def Leppard tours India.”Fans have described the tour as a “full-circle moment,” noting the group’s enduring popularity in India despite never having completed a full concert tour in the past.
The Mumbai leg of the tour concluded on March 27 with high energy and star presence. Actors Preity Zinta and Dino Morea were among the notable personalities spotted at the event. Prior to Mumbai, the band performed in Shillong, with the final leg now underway in Bengaluru.
