New Delhi, India March 29: Manoj Tiwari on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, describing it as a valuable source of nationwide general knowledge and authentic information.
Speaking after listening to the 132nd episode of Mann Ki Baat with students and faculty members of Delhi University, Tiwari said the programme plays a significant role in countering misinformation.
“I believe Mann Ki Baat serves as general knowledge for the entire country. I try to attend these sessions with new people and ensure that as many as possible listen because the information comes directly from the Prime Minister, clearing all fake narratives,” he said.
“Today, I heard the episode with students of the law faculty. I have even taken notes. He urged political parties and citizens not to politicise the situation and to refrain from spreading rumours, noting that India is facing the global fuel crisis with resilience.
“The month of March has been eventful globally. After COVID, we hoped the world would move ahead steadily, but conflicts continue to erupt. A fierce war has been ongoing in our neighbourhood for a month. Lakhs of Indian families have relatives working in Gulf countries. I am grateful to Gulf nations for providing every kind of assistance to over one crore Indians living there,” the Prime Minister said.
