Bandipora, August 20: In a major enforcement drive conducted today, ARTO Bandipora, Mudasir Ahmad Wani, along with his team, inspected more than 400 vehicles across the district. The rigorous checking led to challaning of 120 vehicles, resulting in a total fine of Rs.1,44,200.
As part of strict action against traffic violations, three driving licenses were suspended, and 12 vehicles were seized during the drive.
The ARTO Bandipora emphasized that such enforcement drives will continue in the district to ensure road safety and strict adherence to traffic regulations. He also appealed to the public to follow traffic rules for their own safety and that of others.
