Baramulla: On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, the Chairperson of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Baramulla, Mr. Waseem Hassan Paray, called for collective efforts to protect, educate, and empower every girl child.

He stressed the need to ensure equal opportunities for girls in education, health, nutrition, and safety, describing it as a constitutional and social responsibility.
He urged society to stand united against discrimination, child marriage, abuse, and neglect, and to work towards creating a safe and supportive environment where every girl can grow with dignity, confidence, and hope.
