Bandipora, Jan 29: Muhammad Iqbal Zargar, State Secretary of the All India Forward Bloc (AIFB), conducted an extensive visit to Malangam to review local issues and interact with residents. Accompanied by his team, Zargar received a warm and cooperative response from the community.
During the interaction, villagers apprised him of several pressing concerns affecting the area. The foremost among these was the shortage of basic amenities, particularly the acute scarcity of drinking water, which has been causing severe hardship to the local population. Residents also briefed him on the overall living conditions and sought intervention for long-pending grievances.
The locals expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Ms. Indu Kanwal Chib (JKAS), and SSP Bandipora, Shri Ajaz Ahmad Zargar (JKPS), for their consistent support and cooperation. They acknowledged the district administration’s proactive initiatives aimed at addressing public grievances and improving civic services.
Zargar assured the community that their issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal and emphasized the need for continued efforts to ensure the welfare and development of Malangam residents.
