Bandipora, 21 March: The Indian Army organised an Eid-ul-Fitr outreach programme for orphan children, focusing on community engagement and inclusive participation.
As part of the event, a motivational film was screened to encourage the children to pursue their goals and develop a positive outlook.
Following the screening, a picnic was held in collaboration with Rifle Women, where the children took part in various activities and interactive sessions.A community lunch was arranged for all attendees to promote togetherness.
At the end of the programme, tokens were distributed among the children as a mark of support and encouragement.The event saw the participation of 40 orphan children and 15 local personalities, who interacted with the young participants and shared guidance.
The initiative reflects the Wular Battalion’s ongoing efforts toward community welfare and the inclusion of underprivileged children in public outreach programmes.
