Doda, Jammu, India 24 March: The cultural heritage of the Saraz region received a significant boost as artists of the National Sarazi-Bhaderwahi Society (NSS) Doda J&K delivered a remarkable performance during the inaugural Bhaderadesha Utsav at the iconic Abhinav Theatre. The event marked a major step forward in efforts to preserve and promote Sarazi-Bhaderwahi cultural traditions.
Led by Sulinder Parihar Sarazi, Chairman of NSS Doda J&K and Member of the Bhaderadesha Cultural Forum, the performers presented an engaging showcase of folk arts, traditional music and the artistic legacy of the region. Their presentation, rooted in authenticity and cultural depth, received wide appreciation from the audience.
Prominent Female Artists of NSS DodaKomal Rajput, Anita Devi, Arpita Thakur, Priya Rajput, Ritika Thakur, Kritika Rajput, Shweta Katoch, Priya Devi, Vishali Katoch, Kritika Manhas and Reya Katoch were among the featured performers whose contributions added vibrancy to the event.

The initiative aims to revive the distinct cultural identity of Bhaderwah and provide a platform for local artists, cultural practitioners and dignitaries.
Speaking at the event, Sulinder Parihar Sarazi stressed the importance of safeguarding indigenous languages, folk dances and traditional art forms. He noted that events like Bhaderadesha Utsav play a crucial role in transmitting cultural values to future generations and strengthening regional identity.
